Awaken OS OnePlus 6+6T New update 15th March 2022 Full Review and Test

 Last time on 5th of the March I gave you update blogpost for awaken OS oneplus 6 and 6T. That rom was pretty solid But still some users reported that mic issue in audio calls so Vikas aka Optimus and all awaken OS devs team has released new update on 15th March. Visually you will not see any difference in the rom but when you use it it's actually makes difference in usage than previous rom. As this rom is now encrypted by default you need to clean flash the rom so without wasting time lets get started for installation and review.  As you can see that last time I was on evolution-x android 12L rom. I will now start flashing of awaken os so first Download Awaken OS zip file and finalize zip OnePlus 6: DOWNLOAD OnePlus 6T: DOWNLOAD Finalize zip: DOWNLOAD If you are doing first time installation you need following files : TWRP for onepus6: DOWNLOAD TWRP for onepus6T: DOWNLOAD OxygenOS 11.1.2.2 FIRMWARE for OnePlus 6: (if you are not on this base rom both slots A/B)

Root and TWRP for Samsung Galaxy M30!

TWRP is an open source, community project. A custom recovery is used for installing custom software on your device. This custom software can include smaller modifications like rooting your device or even replacing the firmware of the device with a completely custom “ROM” like LineageOS or OmniROM.

Installation

VIDEO GUIDE

  • Go to software information and click 8 times on build number, it enables developers option.
  • Then under developers option enable usb debugging.
  • Then under same use Unlock bootloader (Hint: Developer options OEM Unlock)
  • Turn off your device and go to download mode(long press vol down+ power button or long press vol up+ power button, it will boot recovery there , select boot to bootloader mode using power button, and then connect via USB to PC.
  • Kick ODIN and flash the recovery by selecting recovery file under AF, you will see PASS green colored. Means you successfully flashed recovery. 
Note: You will have to disable the auto-reboot option in Odin
  • Once Odin3 finished to flash the recovery (you should see a "PASS" message), force reboot your phone (Press and hold Power and Vol - buttons together) and once the screen is off, press and hold Power and Vol + buttons together to boot in TWRP.
  • Once TWRP is booted, you first need to decrypt your data partition. To do so, touch Wipe>Format Data and follow the instructions in screen.
  • Once it is finished go back at the home screen and touch Reboot>Recovery. TWRP should be able to mount your data partition. Now, flash the no-verity-opt-encrypt, Magisk(necessary to prevent bootloops) and RMM Bypass zip you downloaded before (touch Install and select each zip to flash it)
  • You're now able to reboot to your OS without re-encrypting /data partition and without RMM Pre normal lock.
  • You are good to go!

If something goes wrong flash stock firmware using odin!

PROBLEMS YOU MAY FACE

  • NO voLTE for jio sim
  • No OTA updates
  • SIM CHANGED RESTART ERROR
  • Device may not boot

    To avoid sim changed error and reboot, or no voLTE just do some modification in video tutorial. When u flash twrp then without flagshing RRM and DM Veriety flash magisk and reboot.

Install any custom GSI rom on any device as dualboot rom

  Hey what up guys DSU LOADER is awesome implementation by Google to test generic system images that Google going to release new Android versions which can be loaded over the existing OS , with the single reboot we can go back to stock rom.Its only available in Android 10+ roms via developers setting there we gets DSU LOADER option, but that setting will load only compatible gsi packages available for your device when we tap on it , it will gets downloaded and flashed. But developers like phh has developed phh treble gsi rom using these images which are bootabale and working on lots of devices but to install them we need to follow tedious fastboot flashable or twrp flashable installation process which also wipes system, that I created in lots of YT videos. But now the new all DSU sideloader is available where we can load any gsi img, xz or gz file and test it , instead of that we can set specific userdata size for such images and use them as dualboot rom with your stock rom or custo
