Awaken OS OnePlus 6+6T New update 15th March 2022 Full Review and Test

 Last time on 5th of the March I gave you update blogpost for awaken OS oneplus 6 and 6T. That rom was pretty solid But still some users reported that mic issue in audio calls so Vikas aka Optimus and all awaken OS devs team has released new update on 15th March. Visually you will not see any difference in the rom but when you use it it's actually makes difference in usage than previous rom. As this rom is now encrypted by default you need to clean flash the rom so without wasting time lets get started for installation and review.  As you can see that last time I was on evolution-x android 12L rom. I will now start flashing of awaken os so first Download Awaken OS zip file and finalize zip OnePlus 6: DOWNLOAD OnePlus 6T: DOWNLOAD Finalize zip: DOWNLOAD If you are doing first time installation you need following files : TWRP for onepus6: DOWNLOAD TWRP for onepus6T: DOWNLOAD OxygenOS 11.1.2.2 FIRMWARE for OnePlus 6: (if you are not on this base rom both slots A/B)

Lineage OS 17 Android Q for One Plus 6!


LineageOS is a free, community built, aftermarket firmware distribution of Android 10, which is designed to increase performance and reliability over stock Android for your device.
LineageOS is based on the Android Open Source Project with extra contributions from many people within the Android community. It can be used without any need to have any Google application installed. Linked below is a package that has come from another Android project that restore the Google parts. LineageOS does still include various hardware-specific code, which is also slowly being open-sourced anyway.
So finally LineageOS is unofficially arrived for one plus 6. Developer @LuK1337 at XDA Developers website created this ROM. All credits goes to him.

REQUIREMENTS :

1) You must be on any stable OOS pie version, on both slots A and B.
2) You must have installed bluespark TWRP already.

INSTALLATION :

 Download necessary files from given links under Installation section.
1) If you are not on stable OOS pie version on both slots, then you have to flash OOS version that you are using currently using TWRP.
So, power off your device and boot to TWRP and flash OOS stable pie version.

2) Then, flash TWRP zip file.

3) Reboot to TWRP again.

4) Now, wipe your device.

5) Then, flash LineageOS 17 via TWRP.

6) Then, flash TWRP zip again and reboot to TWRP again.

7) If you want to root your device flash magisk zip.

8) Now, reboot your device!

Rom is working supersmooth.

Everything is working fine with some minor bugs.
TIPS :
 1) When you boot, apply phone ringtone under sound. Because, first time you boot, it is at default none setting.
2) To apply dark mode in system apps, enable developer option and search override dark mode and enable that tab.
3) Use google camera link, given below for better pictures and features.
Some of the bugs :
1) Digital wellbeing fc.
2) Messaging app is not showing notifications (use any app from the Playstore.)
3) Style (theme) accent tab is not working for themes (for that go to developers option, and at bottom you will get another accent tab for theming.)
4) Double tap to wake will not work or behave buggy while AOD is on.

Install any custom GSI rom on any device as dualboot rom

  Hey what up guys DSU LOADER is awesome implementation by Google to test generic system images that Google going to release new Android versions which can be loaded over the existing OS , with the single reboot we can go back to stock rom.Its only available in Android 10+ roms via developers setting there we gets DSU LOADER option, but that setting will load only compatible gsi packages available for your device when we tap on it , it will gets downloaded and flashed. But developers like phh has developed phh treble gsi rom using these images which are bootabale and working on lots of devices but to install them we need to follow tedious fastboot flashable or twrp flashable installation process which also wipes system, that I created in lots of YT videos.
