Awaken OS OnePlus 6+6T New update 15th March 2022 Full Review and Test

 Last time on 5th of the March I gave you update blogpost for awaken OS oneplus 6 and 6T. That rom was pretty solid But still some users reported that mic issue in audio calls so Vikas aka Optimus and all awaken OS devs team has released new update on 15th March. Visually you will not see any difference in the rom but when you use it it's actually makes difference in usage than previous rom. As this rom is now encrypted by default you need to clean flash the rom so without wasting time lets get started for installation and review.  As you can see that last time I was on evolution-x android 12L rom. DotOS 5.2 Android 11 GSI OnePlus Nord 2: Better than PAC-MAN edition!

Today we are going to see how we can install Dot OS 5.2 android 11 GSI on OnePlus Nord 2 
And after using it. I can say that, I'm using fully customizable and smooth performing, best battery backup ever on this device actually, like a phase treble GSI it has some major bugs but they are very negligible & we can use this Rom as a daily  driver.




It has fully working wallpaper based on monitor theming of android 12 and material you design so if you're interested in this project you can go for it as per the below instructions at your own risk.

we have the full installation video of this rom and review also so you can decide if you want to use it as your daily driver or not.

Note : Please keep the android backup in the TWRP if you want to revert to stock.

Instructions :

  1.  For the installation you need first enable the developer option & in that enable the USB Debugging. Now boot your device to fastboot mode by using the advanced reboot tool or you can connect your phone to PC and use adb command adb reboot boot loader.
  2. Now first download the jsx file here extract it we get the image file.
  3. also download the video meta file here place both files in the same folder  on the PC now inside that folder press shift + right click of mouse and select the open powersheet window from the  dropdown menu now type and enter the command as fastboot devices this command is to check whether device is connected or not.
  4. Now flash the meta by entering the command fastboot reboot fastboot by this your phone will boot into the fastboot d mode .
  5. Now again type the fastboot device now rename your jsofi to simple one and type the command fastboot flash system system.img(image file name)
  6. It will take nearly 5 minutes and then on the twrp screen click reboot and select the recovery. Now in the recovery click wipe & select factory reset and click reboot to the system.
  7. your phone will boot to the Dot OS 5.2

Install any custom GSI rom on any device as dualboot rom

  Hey what up guys DSU LOADER is awesome implementation by Google to test generic system images that Google going to release new Android versions which can be loaded over the existing OS , with the single reboot we can go back to stock rom.Its only available in Android 10+ roms via developers setting there we gets DSU LOADER option, but that setting will load only compatible gsi packages available for your device when we tap on it , it will gets downloaded and flashed.
