Awaken OS OnePlus 6+6T New update 15th March 2022 Full Review and Test

 Last time on 5th of the March I gave you update blogpost for awaken OS oneplus 6 and 6T. That rom was pretty solid But still some users reported that mic issue in audio calls so Vikas aka Optimus and all awaken OS devs team has released new update on 15th March. Visually you will not see any difference in the rom but when you use it it's actually makes difference in usage than previous rom. As this rom is now encrypted by default you need to clean flash the rom so without wasting time lets get started for installation and review.  As you can see that last time I was on evolution-x android 12L rom. I will now start flashing of awaken os so first Download Awaken OS zip file and finalize zip OnePlus 6: DOWNLOAD OnePlus 6T: DOWNLOAD Finalize zip: DOWNLOAD If you are doing first time installation you need following files : TWRP for onepus6: DOWNLOAD TWRP for onepus6T: DOWNLOAD OxygenOS 11.1.2.2 FIRMWARE for OnePlus 6: (if you are not on this base rom both slots A/B)

Syberia OS 5.2 for oneplus 6 New update Feb 2022: Beast came back!

About syberia OS: An AOSP/CAF based project built to enhance the stock Android experience For oneplus 6. Syberia is first android 12 based custom rom still it is one of the most the most stable and cutomizable rom availabe for oneplus6 and 6T. Last time i have created post for syberia 5.1 update but on 10th feb 2022 syberia team has released new update straight to syberia 5.2.
             So today in this post we will see how to dirty flash this latest update over old one and what new features has been impleamented in the rom which makes this rom unique than its competitor rom pixel experience. Below is the link of old video for last syberia update on 21 jan 2022.
 
Prerequisite:
1) Must be on TWRP 3.6(If your not links are given in the post in installation segment)
2) For dirty flash data partition must be on f2fs
3) You must flash OOS 11.1.1 or OOS 11.2.1 on both slots  A/B before flashing syberia rom.Following are links for oxygen OS firmware.
 OxygenOS 11.1.1 for oneplus 6:
 
 Installation:
Download all necessary files and place them in internal storage of the phone
Download:( Rom included with gapps)
 Android 11 firmware:(Small firmware package)
 
 
TWRP 3.6:
Installer zip:
DOWNLOAD
   
TWRP 3.6 image:
DOWNLOAD
  First remove all pin/password from security settings now long press youre power button and you will get advance reboot option(If you have enabled that under syberia setting) or you can power off your phone and then long press volume down + power button phone will boots in TWRP 3.6.
Now in TWRP tap install and first flash syberia rom zip, then tap advance and select flash current twrp if you didnt have that option use TWRP zip from given link in the download section and flash it. Now reboot back to TWRP and flash OOS firmware zip( small file).Rom now included with Gapps so no need to flash gapps seperately.If you are coming from different rom then you need to go to wipe and do format data if you alredy on syberia before upgrading then dont wipe phone just tab reboot to system.
 
Review:
1)Whats new: 
So after update if we goes to settings>about phone we see we are upgraded to newest build of 10 feb 2022.Security patch is upgraded to Feb 2022 latest one.kernel upgraded to 4.9.300 and merged with latest android R29 sources. Instead of these developers also done some CPU frequencies improvements so rom is now performing outstanding.
 
2)Features:
Some pixel exclusive features has been added in the which are as following
AI autorotation: 
This is new autorotation feature added by google in which phone detects the face postion and accordingly changes the screen rotation to enable this we need to enble autorotation and in that we gets Face ID detection enable that too.
Adaptive sound:
Adaptive sound is available under sound setting if we enable this,your phones speakers equilizer gets adjusted as per acaustic according to your surroundings using phones MIC.
Power button as google assitant activation:
Now in the settings>system we gets option to use power button long press to acess google assistant.There is setting available in this option to adjust hold duration of the power button.
Pure Black theme:
If we enable dark mode in display setting we gets dark mode but its not deep black, but under syberia setting>UI setting we gets dedicated tab toenable pure black theme, this will also helps to improve battery life significantly.
Disable ripple unlock:
Now dedicated tab is available under syberia setting>lockscreen to disable ripple unlock animation when weunlocks the screen.
Bug fixed:
1) Fixed user avtar in dashboard setting
2)Fixed issues related to changelog application. 
3)Added fixes for power menu if we add multiple tabs
4)Lawnchaie launcher updated to 12 alpha 5 with lawnchair icons.
Final Verdict:
Overall this update is not big interms of features but underhood improvement and performance.This update will bring more joy to use android 12 on oneplus 6.

Install any custom GSI rom on any device as dualboot rom

  Hey what up guys DSU LOADER is awesome implementation by Google to test generic system images that Google going to release new Android versions which can be loaded over the existing OS , with the single reboot we can go back to stock rom.Its only available in Android 10+ roms via developers setting there we gets DSU LOADER option, but that setting will load only compatible gsi packages available for your device when we tap on it , it will gets downloaded and flashed. But developers like phh has developed phh treble gsi rom using these images which are bootabale and working on lots of devices but to install them we need to follow tedious fastboot flashable or twrp flashable installation process which also wipes system, that I created in lots of YT videos.
