Awaken OS OnePlus 6+6T New update 15th March 2022 Full Review and Test

 Last time on 5th of the March I gave you update blogpost for awaken OS oneplus 6 and 6T. That rom was pretty solid But still some users reported that mic issue in audio calls so Vikas aka Optimus and all awaken OS devs team has released new update on 15th March. Visually you will not see any difference in the rom but when you use it it's actually makes difference in usage than previous rom. As this rom is now encrypted by default you need to clean flash the rom so without wasting time lets get started for installation and review.  As you can see that last time I was on evolution-x android 12L rom. I will now start flashing of awaken os so first Download Awaken OS zip file and finalize zip OnePlus 6: DOWNLOAD OnePlus 6T: DOWNLOAD Finalize zip: DOWNLOAD If you are doing first time installation you need following files : TWRP for onepus6: DOWNLOAD TWRP for onepus6T: DOWNLOAD OxygenOS 11.1.2.2 FIRMWARE for OnePlus 6: (if you are not on this base rom both slots A/B)

New update Pixel Experience OnePlus Nord 2 March 2022 This is really insane

Hey whats up guys welcome back to our blog 4U tech so finally  developers got there own OnePlus Nord 2 device and  after that we got first new update for pixel experience rom. If you didn't watched that  first release video of Pixel experience rom for Nord 2 please check below.


So I was using linageos 19 rom on one plus Nord 2 but it's time to test new build of Pixel experience. Donwload the PE rom zip from link given below

 Developers also given new PE recovery but I didn't recommended you to use that.

Preparation of installation:

If you are on linage os 19 android rom you cants able to access internal storage so u need OTG and pendrive connect it to phone and copy paste full rom zip file inside pendrive.

Now go to security and remove all pin and password locks.
Now connect phone to pc and by using adb commands on the pc like adb reboot recovery boot your device in TWRP.
So we booted to TWRP so without further do next we will start flashing process of the rom.

Installation:

So once booted to TWRP connect otg pendrive to phone go to mount and check mark usb storage again tap select storage and check mark internal storage.

Now tap install and flash Pixel experience rom zip file once flashing gets completed now tap wipe and select format data and type yes .
If u are already on pixel experience rom then no need to wipe data skip this step.
While wiping if you cant able to wipe data boot phone to bootloader and open cmd window in pc
And type command

 fastboot -w 

This will erase and wipe all data
Finall type command.

 fastboot reboot.


Phone will boot to google boot animation.
So here I done clean flash so I need to complete the setup.
So let's check what's new we gets in this update.

In the about phone we are obviously on android 12 not upgraded to android 13.
Security patch is updated here to 5th feb 2022
Kernel version is 4.14.186 devlopers also merged all latest linageos sources till the date in the rom.
This is the latest build of 2 March 2022.

So in the rom they fixed alert slider bugs, now alert slider is working but still it's in inverted position as compared to oxygen os rom means at the top position alert slider is at default mode at middle it's at DND mode and at bottom it's at vibration mode it's exactly opposite in oxygen os roms.

In this build developers has improved vibration bugs and added vibration strength profiles like low, medium and high.
You can find this setting under OnePlus setting.

Under the same setting now performance profiles tab has been removed now previously we gets balance, performance and battery profiles in this tab.

Adaptive brightness seem somewhat fixed as compared to previous builds, when we enable this tab immediately brightness goes high and down without any reason but now it's seems working good.

Finally rom is updated with face unlock in the security setting this is  Big addon of this  update.
It's super easy to add face unlock along with fingerprint lock .
Face unlock is working very fast it's detecting the face and immediately unlocking the phone.

Rom has update with new google  translate, translate will work flawlessly in side camera and messing app.

Performance Test:

So there are lots of sources has been updated as per latest linageos so rom will perform very good.
So I took geek bench test these results are  higher till the date as compared to nay custom rom I got single core 817 and 2766 for multi-core.

Touch sampling rate:

If we check touch sampling rate rom gets max at 250hz and minimum as 8hz asper the touch input.

Install any custom GSI rom on any device as dualboot rom

  Hey what up guys DSU LOADER is awesome implementation by Google to test generic system images that Google going to release new Android versions which can be loaded over the existing OS , with the single reboot we can go back to stock rom.Its only available in Android 10+ roms via developers setting there we gets DSU LOADER option, but that setting will load only compatible gsi packages available for your device when we tap on it , it will gets downloaded and flashed. But developers like phh has developed phh treble gsi rom using these images which are bootabale and working on lots of devices but to install them we need to follow tedious fastboot flashable or twrp flashable installation process which also wipes system, that I created in lots of YT videos.
